Malaga Buses to Get Around the Ctiy

EMT MalagaMalaga’s public bus network is serviced by the Empresa Malaguena de Transportes (EMT). EMT buses are one great way to move around Malaga, especially if you are not yet familiar with the layout of the city and its network of narrow streets. One journey costs around 1€, regardless of the duration of the ride. If you plan on using the bus more than once or twice, consider purchasing a bus card from one of the many booths scattered throughout the city. For 6€, you can get a bus card that is good for 10 trips. If you're staying in Malaga for an extended period of time, it may be worth your while to get the one-month bus pass, which gives you a month's worth of unlimited bus trips for 30€. For later-night party-goers, a night bus service, which runs once an hour, is also available.

For more information on bus routes and timetables, you may go to the EMT webpage (www.emtsam.es). We suggest that you make use of maps so that you are able to determine which bus routes will best serve your needs.
